Description |
From the presented analysis it can be concluded that the problem of lack of standardization and commonly acceptable semantics that was identified for grids, is still actual in case of clouds. The difficulty of SLAs comparison and assessment that was identified for grids is also observable for clouds. Finally, from the above elaborations is can be concluded that semantic data representation and processing provides a promising research direction to validate proposed mechanisms in the context of cloud computing. Furthermore, the rising popularity of concepts such as federation of clouds or mash-ups, increase the need for efficient mechanisms for shared understanding and analysis of heterogenous data, which can be achieved with the usage of semantic technologies.
